My name is Cody Schultz and I am very proud to be the Athletic and Recreation Director here at Fall River. I am entering my fifth year in my position and I can tell you there is truly no place I would rather be.

I love being in a small town as I truly think small towns do it better, especially when it comes to athletics. Athletics has always been my passion, and when growing up in Belleville I was able to do many different sports and activities: Football, Basketball, Track and Field, Little League, Recreation Soccer, Weightlifting and FFA just to name a few.

I took that love of athletics continued to follow my passion in college as a member of the Carroll University Pioneer football team. While there, I found out how coaching could allow me to mentor young athletes and teach them the valuable life lessons I learned while playing. Thus, I turned my passion into a career as a college football and track and field coach at: Mayville State University, Beloit College, and Allegheny College. While coaching, I put myself through graduate school and received a Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration from the University of Concordia-Irvine.

My ultimate goal was always to become an athletic director/recreation director - I feel that AD/RDs have the greatest reach of all involved in athletics and they have to be the #1 advocate for the student-athletes. Through the 5 principles of DRILL (Discipline, Responsibility, Intensity, Leadership, Loyalty) we will try to reach our students, teach our students, and advocate for our students the best that we can here through the Athletic/Recreation Department.

Thank you for supporting Fall River Athletics and Recreation Department! My wife, Claire, and I live in Fall River, we love it, and are proud to be to raising our daughter Faith as a Pirate!

Please do not hesitate to ever contact me with any questions or concerns.
