MRS. TRATAR (HS SPECIAL EDUCATION)

Hello, my name is Mrs. Tratar. I received my Bachelor's degree from UW- Oshkosh in the area of Cross Categorical Special Education ages 6-21. After graduating, I substitute taught in a variety of districts until I was given a position at Marshall Elementary. I taught Cross Categorical Special Education there for seven years. Then I was fortunate enough to be hired to teach high school special education in Fall River. I have been with the district since the 2013-14 school year. I really truly enjoy my job. Everyday is a new day filled with learning and challenges.

I am married and have three amazing children. I do not get much for free time. Most of my time is spent going to my children’s athletic games and activities. If I do get time to myself I do enjoy reading books, particularly WWII novels. I also love to travel. I was able to do a month long study abroad in Greece in college. My husband and I traveled to New Zealand where we were able to hike on the Fox Glacier and see the breathtaking fjords.

I am very honored to be working in the Fall River School District with your children. I feel that all children have the ability to grow in their learning, and I just have the pleasure to help them along the journey.
