“Inspire” is the name for advanced learner services in the Fall River School District. My name is Shelly Koch and I am the learning support teacher and instructional coach in the Fall River School District. I am also the advanced learner coordinator. The goal of the district is to meet students’ identified educational needs through personalized learning and differentiated instruction within existing classrooms. My job is to work with classroom teachers and parents to identify students’ learning needs and to make decisions on the best way to meet those needs with the resources that are available. “Inspire” services will be offered to provide the potentially high achieving student with an opportunity to develop skills in inquiry and creative expression at a rate and to an extent appropriate to his/her ability. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
“GIFTED STUDENTS REPRESENT A VITAL RESOURCE THAT HAS UNLIMITED POTENTIAL.
WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT THESE EXCEPTIONAL YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE THE
SUPPORT AND SERVICES THEY NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL.”
